Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Slakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Karkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slakov comes to the cage accompanied by Leningrad by Leningrad Cowboys. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karkov throws a series of punches but Slakov moves out of range.
Karkov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Slakov on the side of the head.
Karkov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slakov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice sprawl there from Karkov as Slakov shoots in.
A left lands for Karkov.

It looks like Ivan Slakov has been cut.

and Karkov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Slakov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Slakov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Karkov feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Slakov's calf.
Karkov thuds a left hand into Slakov's body.
Slakov is breathing heavily.
Karkov scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Karkov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Karkov clobbers Slakov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Karkov lands a big right hand that sends Slakov crashing to the mat! Karkov stays standing though and waves Slakov back to his feet!
