Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Karelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhail Fedorovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karelin comes to the cage accompanied by Krynitza - Motherland. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Karelin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fedorovic, pushing him back against the cage.
Karelin using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Fedorovic has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Karelin is leaning against Fedorovic and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Karelin lands with a light punch inside.
Fedorovic has had enough of the clinch but Karelin keeps him there for the moment.
Nice body punch from Karelin - that landed with a thud.
Fedorovic tries to break free but Karelin pushes him back against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Karelin gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Karelin is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fedorovic wants to improve his position but Karelin is controlling well.
Fedorovic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Karelin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Karelin has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karelin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Karelin wants to control the pace but Fedorovic is squirming around nicely.
Karelin pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Karelin postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fedorovic looks a forlorn figure.

Karelin's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Karelin lands a big shot there that rocks Fedorovic but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Karelin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee warns Fedorovic that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Karelin postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Fedorovic out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Karelin goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
