The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

lundin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - lundin lands in his opponent's guard.

lundin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Minutsak sprawls well initially but lundin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

lundin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Minutsak does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

lundin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Minutsak is just riding it out for now. lundin eventually gives up the hold.

lundin is taking a breather. Minutsak says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Minutsak's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
lundin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
lundin lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Ulf Minutsak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ingemar lundin.

Minutsak fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with lundin, pushing him back against the cage.
lundin goes for a takedown in the clinch but Minutsak prevents it.

lundin takes an elbow to the temple.
Minutsak lands with a right to the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Minutsak creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ingemar lundin dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

lundin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Minutsak's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
