The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Mann blocks the leg kick.
A big left from Edgar misses.

Edgar parries the strikes from Mann easily there. Mann is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Edgar to escape.

Mann is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Edgar is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Mann goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Edgar rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Mann's guard! Nice work there by Edgar!
Mann is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Edgar wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mann has him pressed against the ropes.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Edgar looks to throw the jab but Mann is out of range.
Edgar misses with a body kick.

Mann shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Edgar is trying to defend but Mann finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Mann wants to work for an arm triangle but Edgar is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Mann is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Edgar still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Edgar has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Edgar is pressed up against the ropes. Mann has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Edgar down to the mat. Edgar avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Edgar scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Edgar throws a nice looking combination but Mann bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Mann counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Mann drops back looking for a leg! Edgar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Edgar manages to kick Mann off! Mann jumps back into Edgar's guard.
Mann working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Mann is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Edgar is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Edgar has escaped and now he's on top!
Edgar is looking to stand up but Mann won't let him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Juan Mann dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Edgar attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Mann checks a low kick from Edgar.
Edgar tries to score with a low kick but Mann moves his leg out of the way.
Edgar lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Edgar lands a left and a right that send Mann crashing to the mat, dazed. Edgar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Mann is rocked!
Face Edgar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Are you kidding me?! Edgar ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Mann clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
