Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Old Bastard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Legato Effrairo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Old Bastard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Legato Effrairo!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastard shoots in and drives through. Effrairo sprawls well.
Bastard misses with a head kick.

Effrairo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bastard, pushing him back against the cage.

Bastard gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Bastard is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Effrairo sees it coming and defends easily.
Bastard prevents Effrairo from improving his position.
Effrairo is controlling Bastard's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Effrairo makes his way to full guard, as Bastard worked for a kimura.
Bastard wants to stand and escape but instead Effrairo has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Effrairo sitting in guard, not really doing much.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Effrairo wants to pass the guard but Bastard is keeping the position.
Bastard is wriggling around but Effrairo manages to pass to half guard.

Effrairo decides to stand up.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bastard checks a leg kick.
Effrairo avoids the head kick by Bastard.
Bastard avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bastard throws a series of punches but Effrairo moves out of range.
Bastard shoots in for a takedown but Effrairo shows good takedown defense.
Bastard is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Some wild striking there from Bastard.
Bastard shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Effrairo as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Old Bastard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Effrairo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Effrairo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Effrairo gets a clinch.
Effrairo just leaning against Bastard, taking a breather.

Effrairo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A low kick from Bastard misses

and Effrairo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Effrairo.
Effrairo scores with a nice hook to the head.

Effrairo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Effrairo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Effrairo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Effrairo drops Bastard with a beautiful combination! Bastard stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Effrairo is looking for the KO!

Bastard is rocked!

It looks like Old Bastard has been cut.
Effrairo drops Bastard with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Bastard! Effrairo dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
