Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, BJ Penn!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn is trying hard to land a takedown here. VonMueller sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Penn shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
VonMueller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

VonMueller is trying to stand up here but Penn is controlling him well.

Penn throwing shots but VonMueller is blocking nicely.
Penn wants to lay and pray for a moment but VonMueller keeps working.
Penn misses with a head shot. VonMueller uses the momentum to regain guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

VonMueller is refusing to be controlled, as Penn sits in half guard.
Penn is trying to work for a kimura but VonMueller is defending well.
Penn prevents VonMueller from improving his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
BJ Penn dominated that round.

Penn fails to land the takedown.
Penn uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from VonMueller.
VonMueller slaps away a takedown attempt from Penn, before circling back to the center of the mat.
VonMueller lands a two punch combo.
Penn walks straight into a right hand from VonMueller - that's dropped him! VonMueller jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Penn from any more punishment! Penn complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
