Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin tries to bum rush Brocious with a series of wild strikes but Brocious uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Brocious fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Martin sprawls well initially but Brocious persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Martin is looking for a sweep. Brocious is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Martin is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Martin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Brocious has picked Martin up and slammed him! Martin can't keep hold of the triangle and Brocious manages to pass to side control!

The referee asks Brocious politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Brocious prefers to stall for the moment though.

Brocious seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Martin for as long as he can get away with.
Martin tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Brocious presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Brocious feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
