Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pete Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Martel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reed's entrance music is No Son of Mine. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dwayne Martel!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Reed.
Reed has a takedown stuffed.
A solid leg kick lands there for Martel.
Martel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reed paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Martel throws a solid leg kick but Reed takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Martel.
Martel fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Reed is out of range.
Reed shoots in for a takedown but Martel shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pete Reed. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Martel connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Martel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Martel gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Martel goes for a takedown in the clinch but Reed prevents it.
Martel is fighting off a takedown attempt but Reed is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Martel to the mat. Martel regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Reed wants to control from the top but Martel keeps moving.

Reed drops back looking for a leg! Martel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Martel manages to kick Reed off! Reed jumps back into Martel's guard.

Martel controls Reed momentarily but Reed frees himself.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Martel closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Reed to the mat! Reed manages to get full guard.

Reed really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Reed pushes a forearm under Martel's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Martel is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
