Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Hammond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yance Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hammond might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Afterlife. Yance Sackett has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Hammond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yance Sackett!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sackett sizes up Hammond with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like John Hammond has been cut.
Hammond fails with a takedown attempt.
Sackett wants to land a leg kick but Hammond is out of range.
Sackett jabs Hammond right on the nose. Hammond blinks but takes it well.
Hammond throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hammond ducks under a wild hook from Sackett.
Yance Sackett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sackett cracks Hammond with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hammond swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hammond tries to close the distance and clinch but Sackett swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sackett lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nice sprawl there from Sackett as Hammond shoots in.
Sackett tries to clinch up
and Hammond counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sackett misses with a low kick.
Sackett lands a left and a right that send Hammond crashing to the mat, dazed. Sackett thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hammond is rocked!
Sackett dances in with a quick combination. Hammond is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Sackett snaps Hammond's head back. Hammond stumbles backwards against the cage. Sackett steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Hammond's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Hammond just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Yance Sackett!
