Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Charles Barkley!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barkley gets caught flat footed, as Flair shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Flair trying to control but Barkley is working from the bottom.

Barkley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Flair can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barkley is working an open guard so Flair takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Charles Barkley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barkley ducks under a wild hook from Flair.
Flair lands with a nice body punch.
Barkley fails with the takedown

and Flair counters with a single leg into guard. Barkley didn't expect that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Barkley looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Barkley looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Flair connects with a couple of short punches.

Barkley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Flair gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Flair stays in close to Barkley's body and controls the position.

Barkley is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Flair is aware though and is defending well.
Barkley looks gassed!
Flair stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barkley swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Flair wants to get up but he can't break Barkley's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Flair might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Barkley is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Flair wants to control from the top but Barkley keeps moving.
Flair knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barkley on the ground.

Barkley looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Barkley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Flair slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Barkley keeping moving, preventing Flair from controlling successfully.

Barkley trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Barkley doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Flair counters with a stiff right hand.


It looks like Charles Barkley has been cut.
Barkley takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Barkley shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Barkley has his takedown stuffed
and Flair connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ric Flair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Barkley.
Flair scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Flair jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.


Barkley is rocked!
Flair circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Barkley tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Flair wins by KO!
