Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Butter Fly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angle has chosen 8 ball mjg (go hard) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fly shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Angle as he jumps to the side.
Fly closes the distance and clinches up with Angle, looking for a takedown. Fly pushes Angle against the cage but Angle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fly tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Angle swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Butter Fly. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Angle drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Fly is looking to reverse the position.
Fly is working hard here to advance position.
Angle throwing strikes but Fly manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Fly tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fly stands up and we're back to a striking position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fly lands a nice looking kick to the body. Angle takes a step back to recover.

Angle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fly looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Angle looks gassed!
Fly tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Angle wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Fly sneaks back into half guard.
Fly manages to get to full guard.

Fly pushes a forearm under Angle's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Angle is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
