Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rulon Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Nukem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nukem has chosen Head Crusher by Megadeth as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanderson throws a jab but it's blocked by Nukem.
Sanderson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Nukem bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nukem pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nukem swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nukem walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nice defenses there by Nukem.
Sanderson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Nukem throws a head kick but Sanderson moves out of range.

Sanderson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Duke Nukem has been cut.
Sanderson misses with a hook to the body
and Nukem counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Sanderson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Nukem checks it well.
Sanderson throws a hook to the side of Nukem's head but Nukem sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rulon Sanderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nukem misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sanderson thows a body shot but no joy.
Sanderson lands an overhand right.
Duke Nukem is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Nukem tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sanderson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Sanderson looks to land a combination. Nukem sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Sanderson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The fighters circle momentarily. Sanderson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Sanderson scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Sanderson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sanderson misses with a double jab
and Nukem counters with a head kick that drops Sanderson to the mat! Sanderson scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Sanderson is rocked!
Nukem has taken the fight to the clinch.
Oh Sanderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sanderson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sanderson seems to have got his legs back now.
Nukem tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Sanderson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Nukem tries to stall but Sanderson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Nukem has Sanderson pressed against the cage, preventing Sanderson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Sanderson tries to break the clinch but Nukem is controlling the position.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Nukem obliges.

A nice left hand lands by Nukem.
Nukem jerks Sanderson's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Sanderson drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Nukem goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Nukem because Sanderson was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
