Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerrard Frod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan has chosen G&B Showers as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frod tries to clinch there but Ryan circles away.

Ryan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Jack Ryan has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Good leg kick by Ryan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ryan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Ryan misses with a kick to the body.
Ryan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Frod's sensitive parts.
Ryan misses with an attempted mid kick.
Frod takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Frod steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ryan. That one must have hurt.
Ryan goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Gerrard Frod has been cut.
A head kick by Ryan - that's a beauty! Frod is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Ryan can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jack Ryan!
