And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nikos Papadopoulos!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guida throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Papadopoulos.
Guida has closed the distance and engaged Papadopoulos in a clinch.
Guida breaks the clinch.
Guida lands a high kick!
Papadopoulos tries to clinch up
and Guida counters with a head kick.
Papadopoulos is rocked!

Guida keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Guida closes the distance and clinches.
Guida manages to break the clinch.
Papadopoulos on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Guida connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Nikos Papadopoulos has been cut.
Papadopoulos throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Guida holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Guida forces Papadopoulos back against the cage and clinches.
Papadopoulos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Guida walks away with a smile on his face. Papadopoulos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Papadopoulos wants to clinch but Guida slips to the side
and Guida counters with a nice low kick that buckles Papadopoulos's knee momentarily.
Guida lands a nice looking kick to the body. Papadopoulos takes a step back to recover.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Guida clinches up with Papadopoulos and pushes him back against the cage.
Guida's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Guida lands a left and a right that send Papadopoulos crashing to the mat, dazed. Guida thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Papadopoulos is still on wobbly legs! Can Guida finish him?
A big right followed by a crushing left from Guida knocks Papadopoulos out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Julius Guida!
