PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between gearge jone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kerr has chosen Smash Your enemies - Hatebreed as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. gearge jone looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kerr drives through with a takedown into guard.
jone preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Kerr is working jone over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Kerr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. jone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

jone is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kerr is controlling him well.

jone stalks Kerr and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kerr's face. Kerr staggers backwards, shaken.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that gearge jone will probably get the nod.

and jone counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by jone.
