Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miller Rutigliano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miller Rutigliano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ramon Silva!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Silva.
Rutigliano closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silva to the mat! Silva manages to get full guard.
Silva trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rutigliano throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Silva works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rutigliano trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rutigliano throws and elbow that misses. Silva uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rutigliano's guard. Nice move by Silva!
Rutigliano wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Rutigliano clinches.
Silva is pressed up against the cage. Rutigliano has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Silva down to the mat. Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Rutigliano blocks a leg kick.
Rutigliano closes the distance and pushes Silva back into the cage.
Rutigliano decides to pull guard.
Rutigliano seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Rutigliano manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Silva manages to get himself to full guard.

Silva wants to sweep but no luck.

Silva is looking to control Rutigliano's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted?

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rutigliano.
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ramon Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Silva.
Rutigliano is breathing heavily.
Silva misses with an attempted mid kick.
Rutigliano moves out of range of the leg kick from Silva.
Silva throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Rutigliano moves out of range of the body kick from Silva.
Silva takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Silva lands a head kick!
Rutigliano lands with a thumping leg kick.
Rutigliano rushes Silva and presses him up against the cage.
Rutigliano drags the fight down to the ground.
Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Rutigliano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rutigliano kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rutigliano swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Silva wants to control from the top but Rutigliano keeps moving.
Rutigliano has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Silva is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Miller Rutigliano will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Silva plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rutigliano takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Crack! A monster head kick from Silva and Rutigliano falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Silva!
