Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick van Greeven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). van Greeven comes into the arena with Tom Waits - Telephone call from Istanbul blaring out of the sound system. Perry comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In Time kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
van Greeven shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Perry defends it nicely.
Perry thows a left - swing and a miss!
Perry throws a shot from downtown. van Greeven moves away and avoids it.
van Greeven tries to score a power double leg takedown but Perry sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten van Greeven somewhat.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dick van Greeven. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Perry looks to throw the jab but van Greeven is out of range.
Perry misses the shot to the body.
van Greeven steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Perry.
van Greeven shoots in and drives through. Perry sprawls well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Perry lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Perry lands a big right hand that sends van Greeven crashing to the mat! Perry stays standing though and waves van Greeven back to his feet!
van Greeven is rocked!
Perry ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with van Greeven's jaw. van Greeven's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Perry does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
