Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ocho Cinco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Xenos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cinco looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Xenos is fending him off so far but Cinco persists. Nope, Xenos circles away and we're back to standing.
Cinco fails with the takedown.
Xenos throws a head kick that misses.
Cinco is looking to clinch but Xenos is avoiding it.

and Cinco holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Cinco jumps guard and drags Xenos to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Xenos is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Cinco has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Xenos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Xenos slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Xenos has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Cinco!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cinco is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Xenos takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Cinco might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cinco holds on to Xenos around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.

Xenos throws a strike there. Cinco manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
Xenos thows a huge punch but Cinco dodges it nicely.

Xenos is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cinco sees it coming and defends easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Xenos gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Cinco tries for a takedown but Xenos circles away easily

and Xenos decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cinco's guard.
Xenos passes Cinco's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Xenos stands up and beckons Cinco to join him on the feet.

and Cinco counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Xenos had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Cinco is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Xenos Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Cinco's back instead.
What can Cinco do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
