Bismol's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Here Comes The Pain. Connor MacManus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacManus misses with a jab, cross combination.

MacManus decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Bismol is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but MacManus pulls his head out easily.

MacManus decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
MacManus walks into a straight right hand from Bismol.

MacManus shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bismol manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

MacManus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bismol has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, MacManus has managed to get both his arms back between Bismol's legs - danger averted.

Bismol had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. MacManus is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bismol Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take MacManus's back instead.

Bismol throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
