Reyes comes to the cage accompanied by Nine Inch Nails - Deep. Botello comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Makin it Work kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Botello!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Botello scores with a jab to the jaw.
Reyes shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Reyes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Botello throws out the jab.

Botello throws a looping overhand right but Reyes ducks down to avoid it.

Reyes wants to take a breather but Botello is having none of it.

Botello changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Botello connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Botello scores with a jab. Reyes acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Reyes walks into a straight right hand from Botello.
Botello lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
