The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marr throws a right hand that Pyatt ducks under and follows up with a left that Pyatt also avoids with ease.
Pyatt fails to land with a series of punches.
Marr misses with the combination.
No joy there for Pyatt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Marr swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pyatt counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Pyatt tries to clinch up but Marr circles away and keeps his distance.
Marr throws a hook but Pyatt avoids it easily.

Marr drops Pyatt with a beautiful combination! Pyatt stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Marr is looking for the KO!

Pyatt is rocked!

It looks like Peyton Pyatt has been cut.
Marr moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Pyatt throws a combination. Marr tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Marr shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pyatt manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Oh Pyatt is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Marr works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Pyatt seems to have got his legs back now.
Pyatt is looking for a sweep. Marr is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pyatt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Marr on the ground.
Pyatt wants to improve his position but Marr is controlling well.

Pyatt is defending against the submission attempts here by Marr.
Marr looks gassed!
Marr is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Marr is taking a breather. Pyatt says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Pyatt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Pyatt is holding on to half guard well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Pyatt is not content to let Marr control the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pyatt tries to roll over but Marr keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marr thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pyatt's head.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Marr misses with a double jab

and Pyatt counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Pyatt.
Pyatt throws a head punch that misses.
Marr changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pyatt fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Marr doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Pyatt lands a left and a right that send Marr crashing to the mat, dazed. Pyatt thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Marr is rocked!
Pyatt lands with a right and another and another! Marr is in big trouble! Pyatt lands again and this time it's lights out for Marr! A quality knockout there for Pyatt.
