Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Little Focker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JIM Hatter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Focker slips a straight right by Hatter.
Hatter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hatter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hatter misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hatter connects with a body shot.
A head kick from Hatter lands but Focker takes it in his stride.
Hatter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No joy there for Hatter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hatter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Focker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hatter is fending him off so far but Focker persists. Nope, Hatter circles away and we're back to standing.
Hatter throws a nice looking combination but Focker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hatter throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Focker has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Focker fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Focker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hatter tries to avoid it but Focker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hatter to the ground. Hatter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Little Focker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Focker throws a body punch but Hatter moves out of range.

Focker has closed the distance and engaged Hatter in a clinch.

Focker works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Focker shoots in for a double leg but Hatter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Hatter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Focker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hatter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Focker's hands.

Hatter lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

JIM Hatter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Focker takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Hatter moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Focker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hatter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hatter looks to land a combination but Focker avoids it well.
Hatter's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Hatter duly obliges.
Focker scores with a sloppy right hand. Hatter should have avoided that one.
Hatter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Focker.

Focker is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hatter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Focker.

Hatter's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Hatter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Focker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Focker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hatter sprawls well. Hatter wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Focker gets slowly back to his feet.

JIM Hatter seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Hatter might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

and Focker counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Focker.
Focker has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hatter is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Focker drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Focker tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hatter just stands there and leans against the cage.

Hatter swings wildly with an uppercut but Focker uses good head movement to avoid it.
Focker looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Focker has Hatter pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hatter manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Focker drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hatter pulls his leg out and moves away.

JIM Hatter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Focker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Focker scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Focker displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hatter throws out the jab.

Focker looking for a guillotine from mount but Hatter is having none of it.

Hatter is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hatter slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Hatter is trying to stand up here but Focker is controlling him well.

Focker seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hatter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Focker wants to take a breather but Hatter is having none of it.
Focker thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hatter's head.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hatter is not content to let Focker control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hatter throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

and Focker counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Focker is looking to work some ground and pound but Hatter has wrist control.

Focker throws a strike but Hatter rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Focker utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Focker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Focker tries to get out of the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hatter misses with a few strikes there.
Hatter defending well as Focker loads up on a big left hand.
Hatter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A right-left combo lands from Focker.
Hatter fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Focker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Focker closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hatter did well to prevent Focker getting side control.
Focker not landing any meaningful shots this time.
