No joy there for Matias, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shride is looking to clinch.
Matias closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Shride has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Derek Shride has been cut.
Oscar Matias seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Matias lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Matias lands a left and a right that send Shride crashing to the mat, dazed. Matias thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Shride is rocked!
Shride looks up at the clock. Bad move! Matias lands a right hand from hell, dropping Shride. Matias pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
