Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Isheet mipantz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyler Wolf!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from mipantz as Wolf shoots in.
mipantz misses with the combination.
Wolf misses with a wild combination.
mipantz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Wolf instigates a clinch.
mipantz goes for a takedown in the clinch but Wolf prevents it.
Wolf is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
mipantz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wolf avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Isheet mipantz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
mipantz keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Wolf's efforts to push away.
Wolf throws an elbow that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wolf breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
mipantz misses with a takedown attempt - Wolf sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wolf fails with the takedown
and mipantz counters with a good low kick that Wolf was not able to check.
Wolf looks gassed!
mipantz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wolf is fending him off so far but mipantz persists. Nope, Wolf circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wolf swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and mipantz counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wolf has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but mipantz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
mipantz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wolf's guard.
mipantz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wolf with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
mipantz is trying to control the action in half guard but Wolf is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Wolf is looking to improve his position.
mipantz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
mipantz works his way into full mount!

Wolf is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Wolf tries to improve his position but mipantz has taken his back! mipantz has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Wolf tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! mipantz pushes Wolf away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
