Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between georges Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rush comes to the cage accompanied by Gsp´s Entrance. The crowd seem to be enjoying Fernandez's choice of entrance music: Chapterhouse - Pearl. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, georges Rush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Pedro Fernandez!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush has a takedown stuffed.
No joy there for Fernandez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fernandez wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Rush takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Fernandez drops Rush with a beautiful combination! Rush stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fernandez is looking for the KO!

Rush is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fernandez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rush manages to avoid it.
Rush takes a shot to the body in his stride.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rush.
Rush staying out of range there.
Fernandez fails to land with a series of punches.

Fernandez lands a big uppercut and Rush crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rush looks OK. Fernandez waves Rush back to his feet!
Oh Rush is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rush looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rush seems to have got his legs back now.
Rush is breathing heavily.
Fernandez controlling the position for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fernandez blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rush.
Rush throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Fernandez is controlling Rush's trapped leg to prevent Rush from advancing to side control.
Fernandez is trying to get back to full guard.
Rush wants to stand up but Fernandez is controlling the position.
Rush is keen to just control but Fernandez is a slippery customer.
Fernandez avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rush.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rush takes one to the side of the head.

Fernandez lands a big uppercut and Rush crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rush looks OK. Fernandez waves Rush back to his feet!
Fernandez circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Rush to the canvas! Rush doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Fernandez keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
