Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Albert Wesker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Flash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wesker comes to the cage accompanied by Thriller. Jeff Flash has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Albert Wesker's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeff Flash!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flash closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wesker circles away.

Flash shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wesker manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Flash loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Flash trying to control the position from guard on top but Wesker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Flash stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Flash avoids a kick to the body.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Flash.
Wesker stops Flash from passing to mount.
Wesker is trying to control Flash's posture but Flash avoids it.

Flash takes a little break here. Wesker wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Flash decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Wesker scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Wesker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Flash ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Wesker lands a right hook to the body.
Wesker looks to score with a jab to the body but Flash is just out of range.
Wesker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wesker wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Flash looks gassed!

Flash closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Flash jumps guard but Wesker stands there with Flash around his waist. Flash gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Wesker stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Wesker lands with a nice combination. Flash backs away looking to recover.


It looks like Jeff Flash has been cut.

Flash shoots in and bounces Wesker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Flash wants to control from the top but Wesker keeps moving.

Flash drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wesker dives on top into guard.

Flash throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Wesker escapes and throws Flash's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Wesker is looking to take a break and control but Flash is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Flash manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Flash seems to be looking for submissions.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Flash shoots for a double leg takedown but Wesker sprawls well. He's pushed Flash's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Flash wants to pass to mount but Wesker is defending the position.
Flash wants to stand up but Wesker has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Flash wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wesker keeps working.

Flash is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wesker sees it coming and defends easily.
Wesker tries to kick Flash off but Flash keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Flash shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Flash is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wesker is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wesker has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Wesker dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Flash. That did some damage!

Flash fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Flash shoots for a takedown but Wesker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
