The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silver throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Martinez was covering up waiting for the punch and Silver finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Silver with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Martinez wants to stand but Silver is controlling the position.

Martinez kicks Silver off and gets to his feet.

Silver shoots in and bounces Martinez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Silver is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Martinez can't fight it off and eventually Silver manages to take the fight to the floor. Martinez looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Silver takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Silver is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Martinez is forced to tap! Great finish!
