Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meeks darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Meeks is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hustle is just riding it out for now. Meeks eventually gives up the hold.

Meeks tries to stand and escape but Hustle is controlling the position.

Hustle looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Hustle wants to sweep but Meeks has passed to side control!
Hustle is breathing heavily.

Meeks lands a decent elbow from side control.
Hustle on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hustle tries to get out of the position.

Meeks decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hustle to his feet.
Austin Meeks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hustle.
Hustle thows a body shot but no joy.
Meeks tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hustle swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hustle doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Meeks lands a with a good body shot.
Meeks slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

It looks like Sonic Hustle has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Meeks is looking to clinch but Hustle is avoiding it.

Meeks has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hustle gets underhooks to prevent Meeks's takedown attempt.

Meeks breaks from the clinch.

Meeks clinches up against the cage.

Meeks gets control of Hustle's arms and successfully pulls guard. Meeks will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Hustle wanted to stand there but Meeks had control of the position.

Meeks escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hustle gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Meeks will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Hustle postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Meeks is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hustle, into his guard.
Meeks controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Hustle has momentary wrist control but Meeks slips an elbow through the middle.
Meeks pushing down on Hustle's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Meeks wants to take a breather but Hustle is having none of it.
Meeks looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Hustle is staying active underneath Meeks, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Meeks is working for a submission of some sort.

Meeks is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Hustle to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hustle bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Meeks's guard.

Meeks jumps guard and drags Hustle to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Meeks has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hustle is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Meeks.
Meeks takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Meeks pushes Hustle away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hustle gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Meeks kicks Hustle off and gets back to his feet.
Meeks misses with a few strikes there.
Meeks works Hustle's body with a nice hook.
Hustle avoids the body shot from Meeks.
Meeks connects with a crisp jab.
Meeks bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Hustle gets the takedown into side control.
Hustle works to advance to full mount. Meeks defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Meeks has closed the distance and engaged Hustle in a clinch.
Hustle is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Hustle shoots in but no luck this time.
Hustle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Meeks but Meeks pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Meeks shoots in for a double leg but Hustle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Hustle decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Meeks's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Hustle fails to land the takedown.
Meeks shoots in for a takedown but Hustle shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Meeks forces Hustle back against the cage and clinches.
Meeks goes for a takedown attempt but Hustle pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Meeks scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

and Hustle counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Meeks avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hustle trying to control the position from guard on top but Meeks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Meeks is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hustle is controlling him.

Meeks is trying to keep Hustle in close.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Meeks has his foot on Hustle's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hustle works his way back into a safe position though.

Meeks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hustle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hustle would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Meeks is trying to escape the position but Hustle is controlling the position.
Sonic Hustle overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Hustle tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hustle has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
