Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ONeill blocks the body kick.
Cove tries for a takedown but ONeill sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cove shoots in but no luck this time.
Good shot there by ONeill.

It looks like Nugent Cove has been cut.

Cove shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
ONeill pushes Cove off looking to stand but Cove dives back in and keeps control.

Cove is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so ONeill is just riding it out for now. Cove eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cove slows the pace down in half guard.

Cove is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, ONeill has managed to free his arm - good work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Cove scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

ONeill wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Cove throws an elbow but ONeill slips to the side and avoids it well.
ONeill is trying to get back to his feet.
ONeill is not content to let Cove control the position.
ONeill is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Cove asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
ONeill scores with a one two! Cove had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Mickey ONeill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cove on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Cove shoots in but ONeill avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mickey ONeill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nugent Cove.
ONeill lunges at Cove with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cove's hand.

Cove gets cracked there but stands up to it.
ONeill displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cove.
ONeill bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cove's head.
ONeill lands a nice looking body shot.
Mickey ONeill is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
ONeill lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
ONeill paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Cove just misses with a punch to the body.
ONeill is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
ONeill ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
ONeill lands a jab to the nose.
ONeill lands with an overhand left.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
ONeill connects with a right hand. Cove shakes it off.
ONeill lands a nice shot to the body.
ONeill scores with the left hand. Cove knows he should have avoided that one.

Cove is rocked!
ONeill is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
ONeill throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Cove colapses and takes a barrage of punches from ONeill as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Cove is left battered and dazed whilst ONeill and his camp cheer!
