The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Python tries to clinch up but Mousasi circles away and keeps his distance.

Python is trying desperately to land a takedown but Mousasi is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Python.

Python fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mousasi manages to avoid it.

Mousasi is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Mousasi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Mousasi goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

and Mousasi counters with a three punch combo that has Python backing up. Python nods at Mousasi to acknowledge the strikes.
Mousasi fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mousasi digs a good hook to Python's body.
Python misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mousasi fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Python to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Python looks to clinch but Mousasi throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Python taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
