The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trap throws a series of punches but West avoids them all with ease.
West misses with a straight right.
Trap lands with a nice body punch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Trap is defended easily by West.
West throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Trap pulls out of a head kick attempt.
West stuffs the takedown.
Trap has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rat Trap. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Trap tries to score with a low kick but West moves his leg out of the way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Trap shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has West pinned against the cage. West gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Trap will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
