Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Hawla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Deeds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mr Deeds has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hawla rushes Deeds and presses him up against the cage.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Hawla bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Hawla shoots in and bounces Deeds off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Hawla got a little sloppy there for a moment and Deeds has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hawla has managed to get both his arms back between Deeds's legs - danger averted.
