The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slide scores with a jab to the head.
Melim fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Melim takes a jab right on the kisser.
Slide fails to land with a series of punches.
Slide scores with a three punch combo!
Slide throws a nice head kick!
Slide lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Melim backs up against the cage.

Slide connects with a nice looking jab.
Melim takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Slide!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Slide, right into the meat.
Slide misses with the combination.
Slide throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Melim.

Slide lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Melim misses with a takedown attempt - Slide sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Slide.
A left and a right from Slide both land. Nice combination.
Slide is working the combinations to good effect here.
Slide works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

A punch combination from Slide misses.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Melim.
Melim is trying to get an arm triangle but Slide is defending well.
Melim working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Melim is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Slide is trying to escape and Melim transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Slide is forced to tap! Nice work there by Melim! Very nice indeed!
