Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King swinging wilding here.
A swing and a miss from Michaels.
Michaels changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. King tries to avoid it but Michaels manages to keep hold of a leg and drag King to the ground. King escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Michaels throws a wild body kick that King sees coming a mile off.
Michaels misses with a double jab
and Michaels takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Michaels shoots in but no luck this time.
Michaels misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Michaels. That's going to take a lot out of him.
King moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Michaels misses with a takedown attempt - King sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Michaels throws a predictable looking body shot
and King counters with a series of strikes. Michaels will be more careful next time no doubt.
King is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and King counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Michaels looks to land a left hand but King moved out of range nicely.
King avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nice takedown defense from King. No joy for Michaels on that attempt.

Michaels shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts King as he jumps to the side.
King uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Michaels has time to react.

and King cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Michaels misses with a looping left.
Michaels jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Michaels throws a hook but King blocks it.
Michaels falls off balance throwing a combination
and King counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Michaels thinking.
Alan King is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Michael Michaels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Michaels.
King cracks Michaels with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Michaels dives in and grabs King's left leg, looking for a takedown. King pushes down on Michaels's head and hops out.
King blocks a jab.
A cross from King lands.
Michaels thows a leg kick but King checks it
and King counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
King leaves Michaels with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Michaels shoots for a double leg takedown but King sprawls well. He's pushed Michaels's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Michaels is breathing heavily.
Michaels takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

King scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Michaels throws a jab when King was well out of range.
King scores with a one two! Michaels had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Michaels is rocked!
It looks like Michael Michaels has been cut.
King is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!Michaels had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Michaels shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts King as he jumps to the side.
Oh Michaels is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
King lands a left and a right that send Michaels crashing to the mat, dazed. King thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
King closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Michaels! King dives in looking to finish! Michaels is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alan King!
