Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Mendes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gum Guerreiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendes comes to the cage accompanied by I gotta Feeling. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendes looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Guerreiro dives in and grabs Mendes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mendes pushes down on Guerreiro's head and hops out.

Guerreiro jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mendes walks away with a smile on his face. Guerreiro gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Guerreiro throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mendes was covering up waiting for the punch and Guerreiro finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Thiago Mendes.
Well Mendes has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
