Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Knife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Trill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hank Trill!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knife thows a body kick. Trill tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Knife closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Trill to the mat! Trill manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Knife works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Trill is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Knife is trying to work for a kimura but Trill is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knife looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Knife stalling.
Knife prevents Trill from improving his position.

Knife is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Trill has managed to free his arm - good work.

Trill manages to get to full guard.
Knife passes into half guard.
Trill wants to get back to full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Knife not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Knife connects with a nice short shot to Trill's temple.
Trill is looking for a sweep. Knife is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Knife passes to side control.

Knife wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Trill, who protects the arm well.
Trill takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Trill tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Knife advances nicely into full mount.
Knife landing strikes, looking to finish!
Trill is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

BOOM! Knife connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Knife is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Trill is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Trill flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Knife anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Trill and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Knife slips an arm under Trill chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Knife has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Knife is squeezing on Trill like an anaconda would it's prey. Trill fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jim Knife!
