Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Echo Echo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Party (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Party has chosen The Final Countdown- Europe as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Party tries to clinch up.
Echo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Party tries to avoid it but Echo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Party to the ground. Party escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Party shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Party trying to control but Echo is having none of it.
Party tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Echo slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Party seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Echo actively working from the bottom here.
Echo is trying to stand up here but Party is controlling him well.

Echo is looking for a sweep. Party is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Party moves nicely into side control.

Party stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Echo throws a leg kick but Party checks it.
Echo misses with a takedown

and Party counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Echo's guard now.

Echo looking for a guillotine here but Party defends easily.
Echo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Party manages to get himself to full guard.

Party is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Party has Echo pulled in close to control his posture.
Echo wanted to stand there but Party had control of the position.
Echo throwing strikes from guard but Party blocks nicely.

Echo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Party really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Echo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Echo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Party manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Echo has Party in his guard.
Echo is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Echo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Echo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Echo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Party is aware though and is defending well.
Party is stalling in the full guard.

Echo looking for a guillotine here but Party defends easily.
Party seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Party stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Echo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Party trying to control the position from guard on top but Echo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Party is sitting in close to Echo's body. Echo has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Party is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Party is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Echo.
