Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Bong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hearse Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Mike Bong has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bong closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bong throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gracies head.

Bong jumps guard and drags Gracie to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Bong wants to sweep but no luck.
Bong is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gracie is pushing down on Bong's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bong is fighting to maintain full guard but Gracie has managed to sneak the leg through.
Gracie thows a huge punch but Bong dodges it nicely.
Bong is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gracie missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Gracie has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Gracie has control of Bong's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bong regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Bong tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bong is working hard here to advance position.

Bong manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes.
Bong knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Gracie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Bong is breathing heavily.

Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bong, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gracie postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Bong is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

It looks like Mike Bong has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bong is trying to improve his position.

Gracie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie lands an elbow.
Gracie scores with a couple of short elbows.
Gracie lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bong down.

Mike Bong's cut is getting worse.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie tries to score with some ground and pound. Bong controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Gracie is working to tighten is grip on Bong's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bong has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Gracie is really squeezing tight and eventually Bong passes out! Gracie breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
