The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kantai displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Feldman.
Feldman is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kantai sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Pot Kantai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Feldman.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kantai pushes Feldman away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Feldman gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kantai is trying to buck Feldman off.
Kantai is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kantai is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Kantai lands a left and a right that send Feldman crashing to the mat, dazed. Kantai thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Daniel Feldman has been cut.
Feldman should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Feldman slips a jab from Kantai.
Feldman tries for a takedown but Kantai sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kantai swings for the body but Feldman moves out of range.
Kantai defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Feldman.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Feldman shoots in and drives through. Kantai sprawls well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Feldman blocks the body kick.
A head kick by Kantai - that's a beauty! Feldman is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Kantai can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
