PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between YB Sol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manu Okoro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sol comes to the cage accompanied by SFIV - Theme of Ryu 2. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sol tries to clinch there but Okoro circles away.
Sol catches Okoro with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Sol looks to land a left hand but Okoro moved out of range nicely.
Good shot there by Okoro.
Okoro takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Okoro connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Sol takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Okoro throws out a powerful jab.
Okoro misses with an attempted mid kick.
Sol gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Okoro.
Sol throws an overhand right that lands on Okoro's shoulder, as Okoro tries to avoid the shot.
Sol swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Okoro misses with a double jab.
Sol takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sol is breathing heavily.
Okoro scores with a push kick.
Okoro misses with a wild combination.
Okoro throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sol.
Sol takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Okoro throws a head kick that Sol semi-blocks.

It looks like YB Sol has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Okoro lands a left and a right that send Sol crashing to the mat, dazed. Okoro thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Okoro scores with a jab to the body.

Okoro closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Okoro lands a knee to the head.

Okoro breaks the clinch.
Sol looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Okoro comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Sol dodges the punch combination from Okoro.
Okoro misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice body punch from Okoro.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sol crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Okoro - the referee stops the clock and Sol gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Okoro. Sol manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Okoro scores with a hook to the body. Sol takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Okoro is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Sol rather than just go for the knockout.
Okoro connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A jab from Okoro finds it's way through Sol's defenses.

Sol is rocked!
Okoro walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Sol drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Okoro swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Sol's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
