Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Richard Nielsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armstrong has chosen Mudvayne as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong lands a jab-cross combination.
Nielsen looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Armstrong tries to clinch but Nielsen moves out of range.
Armstrong doesn't manage to clinch there - Nielsen circles away.
Nielsen works over Armstrong's head and body with a nice combination.

Armstrong gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Nielsen tries to land a knee to the head but Armstrong blocks with his arms.
Nielsen with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Nielsen throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Armstrong blocks it with crossed arms.
Nielsen takes an elbow to the forehead.
Armstrong lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Nielsen backwards.
Nice elbow from Armstrong.
Still in the clinch, Armstrong scores with a nice short uppercut.
A nice left hand lands by Armstrong.

Nielsen is rocked!
Armstrong has Nielsen pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Nielsen is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Armstrong - that's hurt Nielsen badly! Oh, another knee lands and Nielsen is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Nielsen doesn't seem to be complaining.
