Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Zhelyabov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konung Igor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhelyabov comes into the arena with Гимн СССР blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhelyabov keeps the fight on the outside.
Zhelyabov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zhelyabov gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Zhelyabov is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Igor fails to land with a series of punches.
Zhelyabov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zhelyabov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zhelyabov takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Zhelyabov moves out of range of the strikes.
Igor throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Zhelyabov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Zhelyabov avoids the head kick by Igor.
Zhelyabov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Igor throws out the jab.
Zhelyabov checks the leg kick nicely there.
Igor fails with an attempt to clinch.

Igor closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Igor lands in his opponent's guard.
Igor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zhelyabov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Igor is pushing down on Zhelyabov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Zhelyabov is fighting to maintain full guard but Igor has managed to sneak the leg through.

Igor is looking for a kimura here.
Igor wants to free his trapped foot but Zhelyabov is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Zhelyabov pushes Igor off looking to stand but Igor dives back in and keeps control.
Zhelyabov won't allow Igor to pass to mount.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Igor wants to work for an arm triangle but Zhelyabov is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Zhelyabov is looking to improve his position.

Igor seems to be working for a kimura but Zhelyabov defends the submission attempt.
