The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makerov misses with a hook. Denato ducked under it nicely.
Denato looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Makerov throws a series of punches but Denato moves out of range.
Makerov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A head kick misses from Makerov.
Makerov scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Joey Denato has been cut.
Makerov connects with a superb combination that knocks Denato out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Makerov before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Denato!
