PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andy Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincini Rossini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The key to victory for Andy Kane has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vincini Rossini!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane tries to clinch but Rossini moves out of range.

Kane gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kane is breathing heavily.

Kane throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Rossini escapes and throws Kane's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Rossini decides to stand back up. Rossini steps back and let's Kane get back to his feet.
Rossini shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kane doesn't manage to clinch there - Rossini circles away.
Rossini looks to land a body kick but Kane moved away.
Kane is looking to clinch but Rossini is avoiding it.
Kane fails with an attempt to clinch.

Rossini fails with a takedown attempt.
Rossini tries to clinch but Kane is having none of it.

Rossini takes the fight into the clinch.
Kane lands a hook that snaps the head of Rossini backwards.
Rossini can't get the takedown.
Andy Kane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vincini Rossini.
Kane is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Rossini has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kane uses from the top position.

Rossini escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kane gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kane wants to stand and escape but instead Rossini has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Rossini slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Rossini stands and throws Kane's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Kane trying to remain calm as Rossini controls from the top position.
Kane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rossini on the ground.
Rossini wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kane keeps working.
Rossini passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Kane!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rossini lands a heavy elbow.

Rossini raining down shots from the mount!
The referee warns Kane that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Rossini drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rossini passes Kane's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Rossini is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kane!

Kane is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Rossini locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Kane is forced to tap!
