The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruutu displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jordon.
No luck for Jordon with that takedown attempt.
Jordon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jordon showed some decent athleticism there.
Jordon is trying to control. Ruutu wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ruutu is defending against the submission attempts here by Jordon.
Jordon seems to be working for a kimura but Ruutu defends the submission attempt.
Jordon is trying to control the action in half guard but Ruutu is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ruutu keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jordon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ruutu avoids it really well and circles away.

Jordon has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ruutu is working away from the top position though.

Jordon has his feet on Ruutu's thighs here. He's pushed Ruutu off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Ruutu screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
