Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis comes to the cage accompanied by Tubthumping. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sanderson's choice of entrance music: Take Me Away. Ryan Sanderson has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Sanderson!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis throws a sloppy head kick and Sanderson moves out of range easily.
Lewis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sanderson looks to land a right hand but Lewis moved out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A combination from Lewis does no damage.

Sanderson takes the fight into the clinch.

Lewis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sanderson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lewis.
Sanderson throws a hook but Lewis avoids it easily.
Sanderson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lewis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Lewis throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sanderson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lewis is fending him off so far but Sanderson persists. Nope, Lewis circles away and we're back to standing.

Sanderson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lewis was covering up waiting for the punch and Sanderson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Lewis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Sanderson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sanderson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lewis's guard.
Sanderson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Lewis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sanderson is controlling him.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sanderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lewis throws a right and a left that Sanderson avoids nicely.
Some bone on bone action there as Sanderson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Lewis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lewis tries to bum rush Sanderson with a series of wild strikes but Sanderson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Sanderson gets a takedown into half guard.
Sanderson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lewis keeps working.

Well Sanderson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
