Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sigfredo Pineda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Puncho Pound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pineda might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Suffer" by Vision of Disorder. Pound has chosen Pants On The Ground as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pound closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pineda did well to prevent Pound getting side control.
Pound thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pineda's head.
Pineda wants to control but Pound is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Pound not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Pound thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Pineda to regain full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pound is fighting to break Pineda's control of his arms but Pineda is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Pineda wants to stand up but Pound is controlling him.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Pound looks to land a combination but Pineda avoids it well.
Pineda tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pineda defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pound.
No luck for Pound with that takedown attempt.

Pineda moves into the clinch successfully.

Pound tries to pull guard but Pineda holds him up against the cage and eventually Pound drops back down to his feet.
Sigfredo Pineda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Puncho Pound.

That has opened up Puncho Pound's cut even more.
Pound drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pineda gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Pineda scores a nice knee to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pineda breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sigfredo Pineda is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pound avoids the head kick by Pineda.
Pound tries to bum rush Pineda with a series of wild strikes but Pineda uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Pound takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Pound tries to move into range but Pineda moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Puncho Pound seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pineda tries to clinch there but Pound circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pound shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pineda pinned against the cage. Pineda gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A slapping leg kick lands for Pineda.
Donk. Pineda catches Pound right on the button with a cross.
Pineda scores with a kick to the body.
Pineda lands with a thumping leg kick.
Pineda tries to clinch up but Pound circles away and keeps his distance.

The cut above Puncho Pound's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Pineda throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pound.

Puncho Pound's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Pineda has closed the distance and engaged Pound in a clinch.
