Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between GR Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William McGrady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGrady has chosen Scotland The Brave as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, GR Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, William McGrady!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGrady takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
McGrady slaps away a takedown attempt from Jones, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Jones tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

McGrady tries to buck Jones off but Jones is having none of it.

McGrady is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McGrady flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

McGrady can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jones is looking to escape.

William McGrady showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Jones takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
McGrady tries to advance to mount but Jones denies him.
McGrady looks up at the clock and then as Jones takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, McGrady smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Jones regains half guard there - taking advantage of McGrady's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
McGrady slips a nice elbow through Jones's hands, connecting with Jones's forehead.
McGrady working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
William McGrady has got the better of the ground game so far.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

McGrady seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

I would just about give that final round to William McGrady.
