Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arjen Van Slang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dforg Zwinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zwinner comes into a darkened arena with his song building. MAMA SAID KNOCK YOU OUT kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dforg Zwinner!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Van Slang scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Zwinner tries to get to full guard but Van Slang has control of the leg.
Van Slang throws a strike but Zwinner avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Van Slang drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Zwinner manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Van Slang has Zwinner in his guard.
Zwinner lands a couple of elbows.

Van Slang is looking for a triangle but Zwinner pushes his legs off easily.
Van Slang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Van Slang working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zwinner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zwinner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Zwinner seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Van Slang might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Zwinner is keen to just control but Van Slang is a slippery customer.

Zwinner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Van Slang has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zwinner has managed to get both his arms back between Van Slang's legs - danger averted.

Zwinner sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Van Slang's guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Van Slang drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zwinner pulls his leg out and moves away.
Zwinner throws a combination. Van Slang tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Zwinner lands a high kick!

Van Slang throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Zwinner was covering up waiting for the punch and Van Slang finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Van Slang drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Zwinner dives on top into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zwinner is pushing down on Van Slang's leg trying to pass to half guard. Van Slang is fighting to maintain full guard but Zwinner has managed to sneak the leg through.

Zwinner is nestled in close to Van Slang, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zwinner decides to stand up.
Van Slang throws a right and a left that Zwinner avoids nicely.
Zwinner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Van Slang.
Zwinner drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Van Slang takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Zwinner gets a clinch.
Zwinner gets underhooks to prevent Van Slang's takedown attempt.
Zwinner stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Zwinner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Van Slang shoots and misses

and Zwinner counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Van Slang's guard now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arjen Van Slang. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Van Slang had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Zwinner is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Van Slang Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Zwinner's back instead.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Van Slang turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Zwinner off and cradles Van Slang's limp body as Zwinner celebrates with his corner.
