The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ritman looks to land a right hand but Putin moved out of range.
Ritman throws a head kick but Putin moves out of range.
Putin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ritman has time to react.
Ritman is trying hard to land a takedown here. Putin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Ritman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Putin connects with a nice short shot to Ritman's temple.
Ritman is looking for a sweep. Putin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Putin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ritman with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Putin postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Ritman badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Putin around the waist but Putin pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Putin is the winner by TKO! Putin jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
